    New data proves NATS is hitting environmental targets

    PORTSMOUTH, UK, May 9, 2012 -- NATS, the UK’s leading provider of air traffic services and solutions, today has released findings of the first three operational months of its world-first environmental flight efficiency metric, which is designed to deliver 600,000 tonnes of CO2 savings over the next three years, worth up to £120m in today’s fuel prices.

    Boeing Designs Advanced Technology Winglet for 737 MAX - New technology to give MAX customers up to additional 1.5% fuel-burn reduction

    WASHINGTON, May 2, 2012 -- Boeing announced today a new winglet design concept for the 737 MAX. The new Advanced Technology winglet will provide MAX customers with up to an additional 1.5 percent fuel-burn improvement, depending on range, on top of the 10-12 percent improvement already offered on the new-engine variant.
